Part 26 - Dealing with Dust

Dust particles can cause nasty marks on images, particularly in the sky. This article explains how to clearly display the marks prior to removing them. To see the difference between “before” and “after” versions, position your mouse over the image below.

(NOTE: it may be necessary to hold your mouse pointer over the image for a few seconds to allow the web browser to change the picture)

The full instructions for repairing the dust spot on the image are available in the magazine.

The author has successfully used the techniques described at the Copper Hill web site for removing dust.
